Welcome to the Schiller International University Library

The Schiller International Library houses a print collection of over 6,800 fiction and nonfiction books for student and faculty use.  The collection includes representative titles from all subject areas, with special emphasis on materials which will support academic work in current degree programs (international business, information technology, hospitality and tourism).  Of additional interest is a collection of over 300 German titles which includes original German works as well as translations of English publications.  Also of interest are an ESL section and a variety of foreign language dictionaries, both of which have been helpful to the international student population.  The Library subscribes to a variety of magazines and journals for recreational reading and professional study.

In addition, SIU subscribes to various databases which provide online access to books and periodical articles.  This website will give you an introduction to the databases available for student and faculty use.  Simply select one of the tabs above and follow directions for the database link.

The Library is open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday.
